SEMM Workshop on Cell Migration: From Molecules to Organisms and Diseases
Date: May 12th-14th, 2007
Location: IFOM-IEO Campus Milano, Italy
The topics of the workshop are: - CYTOSKELETON - SIGNALLING AND SPATIAL INFORMATION - MODEL ORGANISMS - IMAGING - DISEASES
Understanding how cells migrate contributes to elucidate various fundamental processes involved in normal and pathological conditions. A significant progress in unraveling the mechanisms underlying cell migration can only be achieved through a comprehensive approach spanning from the study of single molecules to model organisms and diseases. This workshop will provide the scientific community with a focused panel of discussion covering all the topical aspects of cell migration, with the ultimate aim to highlight future challenges, pressing questions and provide novel experimental models to address them.
This workshop is open to all scientists including PhD students and Postdocs.
